On the first Sunday of Advent we went to the DUHA homes, where we sang to the local seniors and brought them the pre-Christmas mood. In both facilities there was a pleasant and homely atmosphere.
Below you can watch a video report from Polar TV. If you would rather read the report, you can do so here: Advent v Domově Duha zahájil koncert vokalistů ze Sextetu plus | Nový Jičín | Zprávy | POLAR – Moravskoslezská regionální televize
Together with the Puellae et Pueri choir, we set off on a trip to Slovenia. We sang not only at a concert in Graz, but also in churches along the way. Together with the choir, we enjoyed the beautiful countryside, visited Orlove Glove, Lake Bohinj and Lake Bled, the Vintgar Gorge, Škocjan Caves, and even went swimming in the sea in the town of Piran. We all enjoyed the trip very much. For a more detailed description of the trip, visit the website: puetpu.cz
On Friday, December 8, we went to the town hall to be honored for our performance at the Concours & Festival International Choral international competition in Provence, France. We were led into the meeting hall, where we were introduced to the mayor, deputy mayor, and representatives of the Nový Jičín city council. We then presented ourselves using videos from the journey that led to this success. We were then introduced one by one and received a bag with a swimming pool pass, wine, and other small gifts. Last but not least, we sang three songs for the town hall: Greensleevs, For The Longest Time, and the Czech anthem Kde domov můj, the last two of which were also performed at the aforementioned competition. We would like to thank the town of Nový Jičín for its support.
At Saturday December 4 2021 the Beskydké divadlo (theatre) in Nový Jičín hosted the annual Christmas concert to celebrate 15 years of Sextet+ 🎉! There was more than a "chamber ensemble" - almost 20 of us. There met former and current members of Sextet+ and everyone had his own big program. Concert was very successful and the audience rewarded us with standing ovation. Big thanks to you all for your support.
Together with our partner choir Puellae et Pueri we visited in October 2021 Italian Novellaru, partner city of Nový Jičín and we had performance in local church. Now, you have the oppurtunity to see full concert and that´s thanks to our YouTube channel.
Precisely 8 years was our assembly in TV show Dobré ráno (Good morning). Let´s remind this performance at least with this video.
We present to You new web of Sextet+, which will be used for our presentation.
